Went to Romanza to kayak. Put in at Romanza and kayaked down to Philmore. Was a great trip. Water was low alot of trees down but, overall was fun.
Just a good little community park that is known for being one of the most popular spots in the area for paddlers. It can get crowded and the area to launch from is pretty rough but it is serviceable. There are places like the usual take out spot for this section of Drakes Creek that the county has done a better job of developing an easier way into the water. It it still very popular and parking can get crowded.

It's secluded spot to go fish or launch a small boat or canoe. A restroom would make it 5 stars.
I spent way too much time here this summer, this is a hub of kayak activity! It's the take out for Trammel Creek which is an awesome paddle, several small rapids, lots of portaging, and tons of fun. It's also the takeout for upper Drake's Creek (have to paddle back up Trammel a short distance) very scenic easy float with lots of picture opportunities. It's also the put in for lower Drake's Creek which is very easy float and has some of the best gravel bars for breaks, a cave with spring to explore, but it can get jammed up with people on the weekends.
